Founded and led by Judith Lucien, Foundation Sanite Jeanty Haiti is a registered 501(c)(3) organization providing residential care, nutrition, education, and spiritual formation to orphaned and vulnerable children in Porrier, in the commune of Jean Rabel. The foundation held its grand opening in December 2025 and nine children now call it home. The foundation's work extends beyond its own walls into outreach across the surrounding community.

Five ways we show up for a child
Every child who comes to us needs more than a bed. These are the parts of daily life we hold together.

Rooted in Porrier
Porrier sits in the commune of Jean Rabel, in Haiti's Nord-Ouest department — a rural farming region where access to schooling, medical care, and steady meals can't be taken for granted. The foundation was built here, by and for this community, rather than brought in from outside it.
Our correspondence and partnership work is coordinated from the United States, with Darline Louisma representing the foundation on the ground in Haiti.
