Care that covers the whole child.
A roof and a meal are the start, not the end. Here's what daily life looks like for the children in our care.
Residential care
Orphaned and abandoned children live at the foundation full time in a safe, family-style home. Nine children are in our care today. That means a bed, supervision, structure, and adults who know each child by name — not a shelter passing through, but a home.
Nutrition
Children receive regular meals and basic medical care. Meals are planned around what's grown and available locally in Jean Rabel. For many children who come to us, consistent food is itself a new experience — and one of the first things that changes.
Education
The children attend a local school, and the foundation supports them with supplies and tuition. It gives them the same footing as any other child — an education that isn't cut short by circumstances outside their control.
Spiritual formation
Daily devotion, Bible teaching, and church involvement are part of life at the home. We raise children on a Christian foundation of faith and character, alongside their schooling and chores.
Community outreach
Our reach extends past the children living with us, to struggling families throughout Porrier and Jean Rabel. We pay school fees for children from other families, and this kind of support helps prevent family separation where possible.
This work runs on partnership.
Every program above is funded gift by gift, meal by meal. Here's how you can help carry it forward.
